North Kent Service Center needs your help! North Kent Service Center is an emergency food pantry that serves low income families and families that are in a crisis situation. Our Lady of Consolation Parish helps to stock their pantry by placing food baskets at the entrance of each door to the church. Every time you come to church bring a bag of food and leave it in the baskets and we will deliver it for you. We also gather as a parish on the 2nd Tuesday night of each month (excluding July) from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. to help stock the shelves and sort through the donations. You are welcome to bring friends, neighbors, relatives, etc. Elementary children are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Your monetary donations are also needed. Your checks should be to NKSC, 10075 Northland Drive, Rockford MI 49341. Please help them as they assist our ‘Neighbors in Need’ living among us. Please keep NKSC in your prayers - that they are able to continue giving peace and hope to all who come to them in need. For more information check out their website www.nksc.net
