Faith Formation is a lifetime JOURNEY for everyone - at every age and stage of life. Since we believe that religious formation occurs within a family and community context, our thrust, educationally, is toward helping adults become aware of their own identity as baptized Christians and members of a global community and to lead them to celebrate this identity. We see our direct formal education of children and youth as a complement to this essential responsibility of the family and community. But that is only a small part.this year we are offering MORE adult formation opportunities to assist you in your JOURNEY of Faith to better serve all God’s people.
Registration for fall classes will begin the week of April 13. Registration forms will be sent home with students, or you may download forms from our website here. To be registered for classes both the covenant and pledge form must be included with the registration form. Please return all forms to the Faith Formation office.

Classes begin on Wednesday, September 24 and conclude at the end of April. Grades 1 through 5 will be held on Wednesday evenings:
Session I …………… 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Session II…………… 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Confirmation Preparation

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, a person celebrates the gift of the Holy Spirit and a renewed commitment to his/her belief in the Catholic Church. We strongly believe that Confirmation is a journey into an ever-growing, ever-maturing faith, not the end of religious formation. Confirmation is generally celebrated in the fall of a student’s 8th grade. Read more about OLC Confirmation preparation here.
