The Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan (AAAWM) provides older persons, including those in the greatest social and economic need, with an array of human services designed to maintain independence and dignity. The Sparta Senior Center is located in the Harvest Way Retirement Community, 100 Ida Red, in Sparta. The phone number is 887-1273. They can be reached by email at spartacenter@seniorneighbors.org. The center sponsors many fun activities, and lunch is served weekdays at 11:30 (donation for lunch with coffee is $2.00). RideLink is in effect. All rides for appointments must be scheduled through RideLink at 1-866-425-3848 no later than noon of the work day before your appointment. Also, RideLink must be called to cancel your appointment if necessary, or you will be considered as a "No Show." Suggested donation is $2 each way.
