Mrs. Terry's Kindergarten at 405 Third Street, Paintsville, KY 41240 US - Mrs. Terry, Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Terry graduated from Pikeville College with a BS in elementary education. This is her seventh year teaching kindergarten. Her prior teaching experience at OLM includes language arts (fifth and sixth grades), math (5th grade), computer skills, and art. Mrs. Terry is looking forward to completing her Master’s Degree in Education. Special kindergarten projects for the 2011-2012 school year include correspondence with the children’s grandparents centered around Grandparent’s Day, a unit on safety and our neighbors around the world with the first and second grades, and a study of butterflies. Mrs. Terry leads the “Share the Wealth” service project with her Haven of Saints, which will focus on overseas missions. She assists with planning and executing the children’s ministries at the Mayo United Methodist Church. Mrs. Terry lives in Paintsville with her husband, Bobby, and their children, Lane and Jill.  Lane is an OLM graduate who now attends Paintsville High School, and Jill is an eighth grader at OLM. Mrs. Terry states “I like teaching at OLM because I can openly share my faith with the students. The children are very receptive to learning because education is valued in their homes”.
