Welcome to Spanish Class!
Basic Spanish is offered weekly to grades pre-school through 8. All classes are based primarily on conversation. Written work is also incorporated for grades 3 through 8. The pre-school class focuses on numbers, colors, days of the week and basic vocabulary. Curriculum for grades Kindergarten through 8 includes pronunciation, vocabulary, basic Spanish grammar, verb usage, and conversation. Grades 5 through 8 will also gain knowledge in conjugating verbs. With this solid foundation in foreign language provided at OLM under the leadership of Mrs. Ara Torak, we are confident that our students will take the Spanish they have learned and excel at the high school level.
