Computers and Physical Education: Ms. Jennifer Bohr teaches both computers and physical education at Our Lady of the Mountains School. She joined the staff at OLM in August, 2011. She was awarded her Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Morehead University in May of 2011 and is currently working on her Masters program "Teacher as Leader" through Asbury University. In additon to substituting at OLM, she is also a substutite teacher at the local city and county elementary/high schools. Her two daughters, Jordan and Jada, attend OLM, and they are all members of St. Michael's Parish. Ms Bohr enjoys spending time with her girls, bowling, playing basketball, and hosting family game nights. Her favorite aspect of teaching at OLM is having the opportunity to work with all of the students and families in grades kindergarten through 8th! To quote Ms. Bohr, "How awesome is that?!"
Art: Mrs. Amy Chapman is the Art and Humanities Teacher at Our Lady of the Mountains School for students in grades 3 through 8. Mrs. Angela Doderer provides instruction in Art to grades K-2.
In addition, Mrs. Chapman provides consultation with the teachers to collaborate arts & humanities concepts into their curriculum.
Mrs. Chapman is a 1993 graduate of JCHS & studied elementary education at MSU. She has worked as a substitute teacher at OLM since 2002. She also serve as the Director of Youth Ministries for Mayo Memorial United Methodist Church. Her interests include people, listening to music, singing, reading & being with my family. She is the mother to 3 wonderful children: Andrew - 13, Joanna - 8 & Bethany - 5. Mrs. Chapman loves working at OLM primarily because of the sense of Christian community the atmosphere brings to students, teachers & faculty.
