Religious EducationThe religious education provided by faculty and our parish priest is a blend of solid doctrine, traditional values and participation in group prayer experiences. Since Our Lady of the Mountains is a Catholic school, the doctrine of the Catholic Church is formally taught. For Catholic students, the school provides preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and Eucharist during second grade. All students participate in weekly liturgy on Friday mornings, and pray together daily as a class during morning gathering time. Children also pray before meals and as a group at the end of the school day. Our Lady of the Mountains serves students of a variety of religious backgrounds and all faiths are welcomed and respected.
