Our Lady of Fatima Parish School – a preschool through eighth grade academic institution located in Huntington, WV – is looking for long-term Kindergarten substitute teacher for the remainder of the 2008-2009 school year.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a West Virginia Teaching Certificate and be available to begin teaching on January 5, 2009.  The ideal candidate will have or be working towards a Master’s degree in education, be a practicing Catholic, work well in a collaborative environment that promotes high expectations, be able to implement differentiated instruction to students with special needs, and be dedicated to bringing new and innovative teaching practices to the Kindergarten classroom.  The current position will end with the school year on June 5, 2008.  Strong performance could lead to continued employment as Kindergarten teacher in the 2009-2010 school year.     Salary is commensurate with degrees and experience.  Please send inquiries and resumes to the school’s Academic Dean – Mrs. Stephanie Durnell – at sdurnell@olofatima.org.  You may also contact the school Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM at 304-523-2861.
