Our Lady of Pompeii School at 129 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster, NY 14086 US - As school families, we appreciate all that our parish contributes to support our school budget.

It's really simple.  The programs allows the HSA to purchase (SCRIP) gift cards to be used at local and natiional retail stores and restaurants at a discount price.  You are able to purchase these cards at their actual value and use them just like cash or give them to others as gifts.  A gift card that you buy for $25.00 gets you $25.00 in products or services.  Our school gets the difference from the discount.

When and where can I buy SCRIP gift cards?

A number of designated gift cards will be available for "cash and carry" (personal checks ok) or you can pre-order from an expanded list of available cards by calling Michelle @ 668-8658, Dawn @ 685-1976, Ann @ 685-4799 or Karen @ 683-3159.

How will I receive my pre-order?

Once you have placed your order by filling our a "Shopping List/Order Form" we will send that order to the company by Wednesday and that order will be filled and ready for pick-up by Friday of that SAME week.  Orders can be picked up at the school office during normal business hours or sent home with your OLOPS student.  Choose from a large number of stores and services in our area.  What a great way to by-pass that trip to the mall for a gift certificate, to use on-line, or to make a payment on your Kohl's and J C Penney charge accounts at any store!!

Why should I use HOPE?

Use HOPE because it is a simple way to give money back to our school without having to add more fundraisers and to meet our financial obligations through the HSA.  By helping make the program successful, we can minimize various fundraising sales/events and all by just shopping as you would on a weekly basis.  If you make SCRIP a regular habit and commitment, with very little effort you can make a big difference and help our beloved school excel.
