Welcome to the Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish website. We hope you find it informative. Within these pages, you will find information about our parish programs and parish history. An events calendar and links to other sites of interest are included as well. We are located approximately two miles south of J. Turner Butler Boulevard on A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. I welcome everybody to come and celebrate Liturgy with us.

Mission Statement

Located in the Ponte Vedra Beach area of Northeast Florida, Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish is a Catholic faith community whose mission is to be a witness for the Good News of Jesus Christ through active participation in liturgical celebration, stewardship, and evangelization. An integral part of our purpose is recognizing and developing the gifts and talents God has given us. We develop spiritually and intellectually through Catholic education for every age group. We share our gifts with everyone and witness our faith to all who are open to the message of Jesus Christ and His Church.

Baptisms
Presenting a child to receive the Sacrament of Baptism is a serious obligation and requires a faith commitment on the part of the parents. This commitment is exemplified by being practicing, active Catholics having been registered in the parish for at least 3 months prior to the Baptism. Parents seeking Baptism for their child should call the Parish Office at (904) 285-2698 ext. 3 or e-mail office@olsspvb.org to register for the required Baptismal Preparation Class.
*Marriages*
At least eight (8) months of preparation is required for marriage. Please contact the office at (904) 285-2698 ext. 3 before setting a date.

Aged and Infirmed

Those unable to attend Mass should notify the Parish Office at (904) 285-2698, ext. 3. Ministers of the Eucharist take Holy Communion to people at home, in the hospital, or at a care facility.
