On February 19, 2006, the Pater Noster Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order, Omaha, NE conducted a Chapter of Elections. The elections were presided over by Jim Hein, SFO, Queen of Peace Regional Minster. Jim was accompanied by his wife, Sis Hein, SFO. The elections were held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Omaha, NE.

The results of the elections were as follows:
Minister - Dick Weithoner, SFO
Vice Minister - Dr. Joe Norman, SFO
Secretary - Michelle Jennes, SFO
Treasurer - Andrea Walther, SFO
Formation Director - Luis Alvarez, SFO
Councilor - Veronica Leger, SFO

This marks a "new beginning" for the Pater Noster Fraternity and the newly elected council members ask for your prayers for a fruitful term in office. Thanks to the past Fraternity Council for their leadership and hard work. Their dedication is greatly appreciated.

The fraternity council takes care of and decides the ordinary business of the fraternity. Any new ideas for apostolates or projects should be brought up at the council meeting. The responsibility of the fraternity are many. The council decides on the admission of new members, visiting the sick, and to insure the general well-being of the fraternity.
