We are part of the world wide family of FranciscansThere are millions of Franciscans world wide. There are numerous branches of the Franciscan Order. There are priests, religious, and the laity. It is almost impossible to count the many followers of St. Francis. They are everywhere! The laity makes up a great part of this global family of Franciscans. Their branch is called the Secular Franciscan Order (SFO). This order is made up of fraternities on different levels. Local, Regional, National, and International. Each fraternity is structured in different ways according to the region and the needs of it’s members. We do however, share one common goal. What is it?
