The Remembrance Tree
Palm Beach Diocisan
Council Of Catholic Women
&
St. Vincent De Paul Regional Seminary
You chose to honor your faithful departed and living persons of importance to you, with a Remembrance Tree memoriam. Several members of council attended this ceremony and the luncheon that followed, on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 12:15 pm, at the St. Vincent De Paul Regional Seminary - 10701 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33436-4899
Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito, presided over a ceremony on All Souls Day at Tree of Remembrance where the scroll with your loved ones names was buried in a canister beneath the tree.
This beautiful, huge, tree is located on the Seminary grounds, where Seminarians, stroll, sit, partake of nature and pray. A lovely silver plague designates the spot where this year's canister was buried.
At next year's ceremony this particular canister will be dug up and a new one, will replace the old. It is a wonderful way to aknowledge your loved ones and at the same time donate to the Burse Fund that helps fund the Seminary.
Thank you for all your donations and your presence.
Hope to see you at next year's ceremony.
