Welcome to my website. I hope you find it informative and easy to use.
Thank you for checking this web site. Although this school year is quickly coming to an end, the fourth graders are still very busy. We will be finishing up our study of biomes with the ocean. Students are mastering fractions. They are able to add, subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators. Language Arts is also winding down. We have written many compositions and poems. We will be working on introductory paragraphs. These will be given to the 5th grade teachers.
I want to thank all parents for sharing their child with me this year. I have enjoyed helping the students learn. I hope you have a great summer that is filled with lots of family time.
The last day of school all students will be given summer assignments in math and reading. The purpose of these is to ensure that students continue to build their skills during the summer months. The fourth grade assignments have been developed by the fifth grade teachers. Please impress upon the students the importance of completing the assignments. Students will be expected to bring all completed work to school in August. They will be evaluated on their efforts.
Likewise, the incoming 4th graders will be given a math assignment. I strongly encourage students to complete the assignment. All work is to be completed and brought to me on the first day of school in August.

We will also be stressing 3-P's. They are PRIDE - in self, in family, in school and in Church. The second is PREPARATION - for daily activities, for school, for future activities, for leading a Catholic/Christian Life. The final word is PERFORMANCE - in school work, in daily activities, in relationships, in behavior and responsibility.
