               I just cannot believe that Thanksgiving is upon us!   The school year is just flying by.  I enjoyed talking to many parents during conferences!  Please remember that if you ever have any questions or concerns to just call or e-mail. 

               Students are hard at work doing multiplication and division in math.  Please be sure that you are drilling multiplication facts every night.  It is extremely important that the students know the facts up to    12 X 12.  

               The desert biome is the first biome we are studying.  Students will be learning about the climate, plants, animals, landforms, food chains, and how deserts are formed.  They will have a biome project due November 30.  Please help the students pace themselves so that Thanksgiving holiday is just that - a holiday and not consumed by a project.  As always, be sure the students do the project and they do not simply cut and paste off the internet.
     
                      
             In Religion, we are studying about God's revelation and the Trinity.   We have been learning about God the Father, and will begin to study Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

           I will be  updating the webpage daily.  I WILL list homework, projects and tests daily.  Please check the calendar link for upcoming important school and class events.  Please note:  I WILL NOT be using the homework hotline - I will be using the web site.  If you prefer to use the hotline to stay up to date with assignments, please use Mrs. Darr's.  The number is 293-9452 ext. 350.


                      This year I will be teaching math, science and Religion to all the fourth graders.  Mrs. Darr will be teaching Language Arts and social studies.

               We will also be stressing 3-P's. They are PRIDE - in self, in family, in school and in Church. The second is PREPARATION - for daily activities, for school, for future activities, for leading a Catholic/Christian Life. The final word is PERFORMANCE - in school work, in daily activities, in relationships, in behavior and responsibility.
