Fourth Grade Discipline Policy

In order to have a good learning environment, the fourth grade has a firm, but fair discipline policy.  Students will be expected to follow the these rules.
         1. Respect yourself, others and property
         2. Listen carefully.  Follow directions fir first time given.
         3. Raise you hand to speak, and wait to be called upon.
         4. Stay in your seat.
         5. Walk in line quietly in the hallway.
         6. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
         7. Come prepared for class:
                           In uniform
                           On time
                            With needed supplies

Students will be complimented when they follow rules.  They may be given positive consequences  such as book mark, a homework pass etc.

Students will be given the following consequences when they choose not to follow the rules.
        1. A verbal warning
        2. Pull green card  - write behavior in notebook
        3. Pull yellow card - complete "Think Sheet,"  sign it, and return it with parent signature
        4. Phone call home if necessary
        5. Recurring behavior problems may result in a demerit being issued.
