Catholic Social Services of Oakland County offers 10-week classes for moms and dads who need help taking the stress out of parenting. Classes are held in: . Southfield, Mondays at 6:30p (248) 548-4044 . Pontiac, Thursdays at 6:00pm (248) 334-3595 . Waterford, Saturdays at 9:00am (248-666-8870) Classes focus on positive parenting and non-violent discipline techniques for children of all ages. Its strategies are based on developing reasonable expectations, communicating effectively, modeling appropriate Behavior, and disciplining versus punishing'. Participants who share their concerns and experiences with other parents discover they are not alone! Classes are $10.00 per class, per person.
