Hospice volunteers playa significant role in the Hospice program and in the care they provide to patients and their families during the final stages of life. We are currently looking for volunteers to visit with patients and families to provide emotional/spiritual support. Volunteers do NOT provide any hands-on care. Our Volunteer Training Program will be held on five consecutive Mondays for three hours each beginning September 19th, till October 17th from 10:00-1:00 p.m. It will be held at the Beaumont Hospice office located at 1200 Stephenson Highway in Troy.
