Pope John Paul II has challenged all Catholics and Catholic ministries to engage in a "New Evangelization" of the Church and the world. Sacred Heart Major Seminary has embraced the Holy Father's challenge by developing a new degree program: a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) with a specialization in the New Evangelization. The seminary also has customized its MA Theology and MA Pastoral Studies programs to include concentrations in the New Evangelization.
