The Pensacola-Tallahassee Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (PTDCCW)  welcomes you to our home page. Thank you for your interest in this spirit-filled organization.

We are members of the National Council of Catholic Women which  unites more than 4,000 affiliated Catholic women's groups and nearly 4,000 individual Catholic women in the United States.  We range in age from 18 to 100 plus. We are mothers, daughters, sisters, cousins, wives, widows, friends, nuns, doctors, lawyers, teachers, homemakers, you name it, that's who we are. We are today's women who are interested in social justice, legislation, current events, spirituality, women's issues, the environment, the dignity of the human being, and much, much more.

Our mission statement says it all, and there is something for everyone in council. Whether you are hungry for spiritual growth, friendship, renewal or involvement, you'll find it with us. We have conferences, conventions, leadership workshops, personal enrichment and development, social gatherings, days of prayer and recollection, fun and fund-raisers! We invite you to join the affiliation in your parish.

Congratulations to Sheila Hopkins, recipient of the 2010 Our Lady of Good Counsel Award presented at the Florida Council of Catholic Women Conference.

The award recognizes Sheila as a woman of faith and vision who serves actively and faithfully by giving of her time and her God-given gifts. Sheila has served the Council at the parish, diocesan, state and national levels..  She is currently President of the Associates at the National Council of Catholic Women.
