We would like to welcome you to CORE:
Our meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month (unless the second Saturday is a holiday), from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 3815 S. Cedar St. in Lansing. If you have any questions, please call us at 517-372-7102.
We continue to grow because of our involvement in CORE.
A CORE Member Is…
A couple who understands and values the faith community as necessary for spiritual growth. A couple who has an ability to draw on his/her own spiritual
resource. A couple who can listen to others even when what they say doesn’t seem to make sense. A couple who is willing to sit quietly with others when they can’t put their hurts into words. A couple who accepts others as they are
rather than how that person thinks they should be. A couple who can allow
others to express their own feelings without telling them how they should
feel. A couple who others can confide in, knowing that confidentiality is a
priority. A couple who will give others time and opportunity to make their
own decisions. A couple who can ask how others are doing without feeling an
obligation to tell them what they should be doing. A couple who admits that
at times they find it necessary to seek comfort from others. A couple like you and me who wants to improve his/her marriage and is working on daily dialogue. A couple who realizes CORE is the most important part of the Retrouvaille program. CORE is where all of the tools received on the Weekend and enforced at Post are really put into use in everyday life.
