Classroom rules

1. Respect  yourself, others, and property
2. Listen carefully. Follow directions the first time given.
3. Raise your hand to ask a question and wait to be called upon.
4. Stay in your seat.
5. Walk in line quietly. Lips are zipped and hands at your side.
6. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
7. Come prepared for class:

In uniform

On time

With needed supplies

Homework completed

Assignment notebook signed

Individual Rewards

1. Verbal praise
2. Positive note to child or parent
3. Reward pencil, bookmark, etc

Classroom Rewards

1. Silent celebrations
2. Extra recess time
3.  Educational game or activity

Discipline Consequences for behavior

First time student breaks rule:

Name recorded- warning

Second time a student breaks a rule:

move clip and a note sent home

Third time a student breaks a rule:

Move clip and note sent home. Loose afternoon recess

Fourth time a students breaks a rule:

Loose afternoon recess and parents are called

Severe Clause (Fighting, cussing, throwing objects, vandalism, defying teacher, or stopping the class from functioning) Child sent to bench will see principal, Parents will be contacted.

Consequences for unfinished class work or homework, unsigned assignment notebook, or note sent home.

 Unfinished homework will be finished during afternoon recess.

 Unfinished class work will sent home as home work.

 Unsigned note and/or assignment notebook- no afternoon recess

If any of the above happens three times in one week Parents will be called.
