I believe that homework serves two purposes for a student: 1. To reinforce lessons taught in the classroom 2. To encourage age appropriate responsibility in each student. Homework will be sent home nightly. No homework should ever take your child more than 30 minutes. Here is the homework schedule: Monday - Spelling three times each. Math sheet Wednesday - Spelling abc order Math sheet Thursday - Study for Spelling Test. If your child is ever spending more than 30 minutes on their homework, please contact me.
Tuesday - Ten spelling sentences. Underline spelling word in sentence. ( students may choose words) Math sheet
