5th Grade Ancient History
We are studying Geography. We began the year with our lesson on the 5 themes of geography and a review of latitude and longitude. We will now be learning map skills. Students will be learning about the different types of maps, parts of a map, and how to use and create maps.
5th Grade Religion
In Religion, we begin our introduction of the Seven Sacraments. We will also study the Paschal Mystery. We will also be spending time every day in quiet reflection. Our classroom goal is to be able to spend 3 minutes in quiet reflection. When we achieve this, we will have a class outside. (Weather Permiting)
6th Grade Religion
In Religion, we are learning about sacrifice. We will read about Abraham and study the last supper. We will explore what Sacrifice means to modern Catholics and young people.
