So what is RYSE? Why is it spelled that way? Who can come? This is where you can find out how this vibrant youth group came to be, and what we are all about! In 2002, the founding members of this group were trying to think of a cathcy name for this community of teens in grades 9-12. RYSE stands for REAL YOUTH SPRITUAL EXPERIENCE. Young people come from Nanuet HS, South, North, Albertus, IHA, Don Bosco, St. Joe's, and Bergen Catholic. We usually meet 2-3 Monday nights a week in the Media Center at St. Anthony's School from about 7-9. At our meetings we discuss and have fun with the many issue facing young people today. Together we explore how we can use our faith in a fun and enthusiastic way as we deal with life! We also do service projects, work with parish seniors, children, and have social events as well. Spiritually we are a group that shares ups, downs, prayers, and most of all our faith. Anyone is welcome at anytime. There is no formal sign up or dues. You are always welcome!
