Sacred Heart Morriston at School Road, Morriston, Swansea, West Glamorgan SA6 6HZ UK - First Confession & First Holy Communion 2007

First Confession & First Holy Communion 2007

Minimum age — 7 years before 1st September 2006 or year 3 in school.

Parents are very much seen as part of the programme and will be required to attend adult classes at the same time as their children attend their own classes.  Parents should give good example through regular attendance of the sacraments themselves (especially Confession and Mass).

Meetings will be held on a mutually agreed day and time and will last no more than one hour and fifteen minutes.

All meetings will start with a short service in the Church, and continue in the Youth Room (for children), and in one of the other meeting rooms (for parents), at the Sacred Heart Centre.

There is no set date for the Reception of the Sacraments.  Candidates are encouraged to make their First Holy Communion sometime in June or July, at the Mass they usually attend with their families.

Candidates are encouraged to take an active role in the Mass, becoming involved in welcoming, collecting and even reading, though, this is not compulsory.

I hope you will enjoy the new programme, and that it will leave you with many happy memories!
