Coordinator: Paul Bumbar 845-351-5680 The parish of St. Anastasia is pleased to offer services to seniors and the homebound in the community at large; that is, one need not be a parishioner to receive them. Services are provided by parishioners in the Senior Outreach Ministry, and are available on a regularly scheduled basis, or on an as-needed basis (with at least a two-day notice). Services Offered Visiting: (at place of residence or in hospital) The same person will come, usually once a week for about an hour, to provide companionship and contact with the community. In addition to, or in lieu of, a home visit, the voluteer can also telephone once or twice a week at a regular time. Shopping: A volunteer, using cash provided by the senior, will do grocery or other basic shopping once a week, or as needed - with a two-day notice. Transportation/Escorting: A volunteer will transport or escort persons to medical or dental appointments.
