Celebrant: In confidence, let us speak our needs to our gracious God.

Lector:

That church leaders of every denomination will work effectively together to end hunger and homelessness, we pray to the Lord.

That warring nations cast aside old hatreds and seek ways to live in true peace, we pray to the Lord.

That communities will support families with safe housing, medical care, and good schools, we pray to the Lord.

That our nation, and all nations, will recognize the dignity in each human person, and act fervently to protect the life and rights of all, we pray to the Lord.

That members of this assembly, and all who await the Lord’s coming, will be renewed in faith, steadfast in hope, and filled with love, we pray to the Lord.

That all those who have died, especially ______________________, Janet Storch-Parker, George and Blanche Naeyaert (Nay-Yert), and J.D. and Lucy Fagar, may share eternal life in Christ, we pray to the Lord.

Celebrant: Creator God, show us Your ways. Teach us Your paths and guide us in Your truth as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
