Lunches:
The cost of lunch is $2.25 per student per day.  Five day lunch cards may be purchased.  When all five days are filled, the lunch card is marked FULL and sent home.  Lunch cards cost $11.25 and must be paid in advance.  Milk or juice for packers cost $.40 per student per day.  Five day drink cards can also be purchased.  When all five days are filled, the drink card, like the lunch card, is marked FULL and sent home.  Drink cards cost $2.00 and must be paid in advance.  I challenge all of us to keep up with our child's/children's lunch and drink cards.  Please ask them for FULL cards each day as you check their backpacks and homework books.  Direct any questions to Rose Mary Fangmeyer or Paulette Boden at 431-5987.

Salad Bar  -  On Friday, the students may purchase the salad bar instead of the hot lunch.  Students may not purchase a hot lunch and the salad bar.  There will not be an opportunity for students to purchase single items off the salad bar with cash or change.  The salad bar will cost $2.25, the same as a hot lunch.  A drink will come with the salad bar as well.

Birthday treats -- Treats must be simple.  They should consist of a cookie, brownie or similar item.  Please do not send in cakes, drinks, and pizza or fast food lunches on your child's birthday.
 
CAFETERIA POLICY

Each family pays a $60 cafeteria fee.  Workers will sign up for FIVE days throughout the year. Parent workers may not bring small children to work in the cafeteria with them.  (Children between birth and 5 years.)  Hours to be worked are 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (NOTE: You must stay the entire 2 hours to be credited for working a day.)  For each day worked, $12.00 will be credited toward next year's fee.  $12.00 will be paid for any day worked over the 5th day.  Families whose youngest child is in the 8th grade will be paid for each day worked.  Families may opt to donate the $12.00 back rather than be paid.
 
Under the Diocese of Covington's Protecting God's Children Misconduct Policy, all parent workers will need to attend the Virtus live training seminar.  This is a three hour workshop that will be offered in various locations throughout the year. Once the live training is complete, then periodic updates are conducted online.  These updates do not take long and the live training is completed only once. ALL ADULTS WHO ARE IN THE BUILDING MUST BE IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THIS POLICY.
