Reading Update: It’s hard to believe our Superkids Reading Program is already in its third year. This phonics based program builds upon the relationship between reading, spelling, writing and speaking.
The Second Grade class, who have been in the program since its inception, are currently reading Chapter Books and Periodicals. They are also learning formal writing and speaking.
The First Graders are well into reading longer decodable stories along with shared and individual writing projects.
The kindergarten students are learning upper and lower case letters of the alphabet, blending sounds, plus comprehension and vocabulary through read alouds.
As a result of this program St. Anthony students are “super” readers, writers and spellers!

CincinnatiBell Learn …is a no strings attached fundraising effort that you can support by completing the short registration form attached to today’s bulletin. You can earn a minimum of $10 for St. Anthony School simply by being a pre-existing Cincinnati Bell customer. Additional forms can be printed off either the school or church website and given to family, friends, and neighbors! Completed forms can be placed in the collection basket or sent to the school office. Please support this effortless, hassle-free fundraiser!
