Alzheimer’s Association:

Coping with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) does not have to be a lonely experience. A support group is now available to give care givers a chance to share their feelings with others who do understand because they, too, have a loved one with dementia. Supervised activities that offer fun and friendship are provided for those with AD.
Please contact Suzanne Bach @ 704-335-0253 for meeting time and place.
AIDS Ministry:

Learn about the
Columbarium and Garden
The Columbarium and Memorial Garden is designed to provide a place on the church property for the permanent preservation of the ashes of cremation for church members and their immediate family. This is a place for those who love St. Gabriel Catholic Church and have a sense of closeness to it, which they would like to preserve even after death. It shall be hallowed ground, sacred to the memory of those who have departed from our midst.
Included in the Memorial Garden will be a memorial wall containing plaques in memory of a person or persons whose remains are located elsewhere.

Guardian Angel Memorial Garden

The St. Gabriel "Guardian Angel Memorial Garden" has been built to remember the unborn and children that have died through the age of 18. It is located next to the children's playground which is behind the grotto. Enter the path at the entrance of the lovely arbor and follow the stone path where there is a place to sit and enjoy the peace you will find here. The statue of a beautiful angel overlooks the garden.
