GivingCart, a new web site built by Ben Dunlap (Thomas Aquinas College '05) and two Franciscan University alumni. The address is www.givingcart.com.

We have links at GivingCart to hundreds of popular online retail stores like Amazon, eBay, BassProShops, Staples, Quill, Travelocity, 1-800-CONTACTS... you name it.

When you click through to one of the stores and make a purchase, GivingCart earns a commission, and then we donate most of that commission to the Catholic charity of your choice.

There are no hidden costs -- you buy at the same price as always. And the commissions are generous: Amazon gives at least 4% and as much as 8.5% of your purchase price.

eBay gives 50% of the revenue they earn from an auction or sale!

The site has been up and running since October and in mid-February we sent out our first run of checks, to 22 Catholic organizations.  See our website for details and specifications.
