Saints and Angels Catholic Home Educators at 6630 Foote Rd, Ceres, CA 95307 US - About Us
About UsCatholic Home Educators is a support group for Catholic homeschooling families in the 209 area code of middle Northern California. This mostly consists of Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Calaveras, Tuolumne and Merced counties.
We are NOT an association in which individual families educate their children under one, unified academic banner. Rather, we are a support group through which Catholic parents can share and exchange with each other ideas, activities, and Faith. Thus, each family educates its children independently. While we are not a diocesan organization directly affiliated with the any one of the Roman Catholic dioceses comprising of the central valley region, we do stand in union with our Bishops and in solidarity with our Priests as we are 100% faithful to the Magisterium of Holy Mother Church.
Website and Yahoo Group
Founded in January 2006 as saintsandangels.net, we also have an online Yahoo Group, JMJ Homeschool 209 . These help to provide convenient online methods for local Catholic home educators and their groups to announce events and activities.
New Homeschooling Families
We especially believe in being available to families new to homeschooling or becoming interested in homeschooling. If you are a home educator veteran, would you consider being a contact for your city or surrounding area? The need is great. Please see our Staff Page with your information and how you would like to be presented as a contact.
St. Michael Prayer St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
(This powerful prayer was composed by Pope Leo XIII. In a vision, he had been shown the fearful battle to be waged between Satan and St. Michael over the church of the future. Now, as never before, the church needs the intercession of St. Michael! Please say this prayer every day. This prayer used to be said at the end of every Mass, and is still said in some corners of the world.) Indulgenced by Pope Leo XIII, Sept 25, 1888.
