Complete Catechetical Curriculum Guidelines
Religious Education classes for grades 1-8 are on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:15 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:00-10:15 a.m. in the school. Parents may choose which class time best fits their family’s needs on a first come, first served basis. A Diocesan mandated curriculum and a wide variety of creative methods help the student to develop an understanding of Jesus, the Word, community life, worship and service. The mandate of our Diocesan guidelines is the minimum of 2 years of consecutive religious education prior to the reception of a sacrament. Volunteers are needed to minister as catechists, aides, clerical staff and in various other capacities.
If your child has been away from Religious Education for several years or if your child is mentally or physically challenged, he/she is welcome in our program. Call the Religious Education director to discuss your child’s needs.
