St. Sebastian Parish at 311 Siebert Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 US - Marriage

Couples planning to marry are to contact a parish priest at least six (6) months before the desired date. Couples should not set a date or rent a hall until they have met with one of the parish priests. Marriage preparation is required. Engaged couples preparing to be married in the Church are required to participate in a marriage preparation program. In our parish, married couples and a priest meet with engaged couples to discuss the many facets of married life as a partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Church in their preparation for marriage. Frank discussions on communication, family and other related topics encourage the engaged couples to communicate openly on various subject matters before their marriage.
