Funeral Planning Ministry
Living Through Grief support group
The Funeral Planning Ministry involves involves assisting people in planning the Funeral Liturgy of their loved ones. The team members help the family choose from the Liturgical options permitted by the Church in planning the Funeral Mass. When deemed proper, they may also make follow-up calls. This compassionate service is appreciated by the family during this vulnerable time in their lives.
Adult volunteers serve at funeral Masses. Additional volunteers sing in the Resurrection choir. No practice necessary.

Living Through Grief The purpose of the group is to provide peer counseling support to members of the parish, or community, that’s suffering from the death of a spouse. Because this group focuses solely on spousal loss it provides a chance for members to really share how the death of a spouse impacts all aspects of their life. We also are available to provide resources and referrals to other types of loss support groups throughout the North Hills. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 1 to 2:30 PM in Haber Hall. No sign up is required.
