Faith Formation and Religious Education are life-long activities. St. Sebastian Parish endeavors to help all people on their quest to know and serve God. Below are some of the offerings of our Faith Formation department. Children's Liturgy of the Word - for children ages 4 up to and including those who just finished 4th grade during the Sunday 8:30 and 10:30 Masses from mid September through mid May. Children begin Mass with their families, then in procession proceed to the Chapel for age appropriate Sunday scripture readings. At the Presentation of the Gifts, children return to their families in the main church.
St. Sebastian School - Preschool, Kindergarden, and Grade School education through 8th grade, helping to instill in children the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and fulfill God's unique role for them in building up His Kingdom on this earth.
Religious Education (CCD) for grades 1-8
Youth Ministry- Offering faith formation activities and fellowship to young people from 4th grade up to young adults, singles, and couples in their 20s & 30s.
Adult Faith Formation - Learning is not just for children! A wide variety of classes are offered.
World Wide Marriage Encounter - designed to give married couples the opportunity to examine their lives together
RIte of Christian Initiation (RCIA) - This program is for anyone who has never been baptized, a Christian who wants to become Catholic, or a baptized Catholic who never received Eucharist/Confirmation.
Vacation Bible School - a week-long summer program for children ages 4 up to and including those who just finished 4th grade
Stellar Student Recognition - a program to promote the hard work and accomplishments of parish youth in grades 6-12.
