More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.” With this true saying in mind, the Ministry of Praise was initiated in our parish. We enlist the help of our sick, physically challenged, senior citizens or any parishioner who wishes to pray for our parish family and the needs of the entire Church. Those who wish to join this ministry are formally commissioned as Ministers of Praise. They are given certificates, crosses made of olive wood from the Holy Land, and a prayer book which may be used. If interested, contact the parish office for more information. Philippians 4:6
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
Are you ailing physically or spiritually? Do you know someone that is? Or, do you just want to give thanks and praise to God for his many blessings and abundent grace?

Prayers for a one month old baby boy born with an under developed ear. Let us pray that God will bless and protect this dear baby boy with the needed physical strength to live until he is old enough to have the needed heart surgery. Also, pray for his parents and all his family to remain strong in their faith believing in God's goodness.

Let us pray with great faith for AGNES (34) who is suffering (in much pain) in a nursing home with metastatic breast cancer. Due to our money seeking insurance companies, Agnes was not able to be approve for Medicaid in time to have proper treatment of her breast cancer. Instead she suffer without treatment until the "cancer had come through her skin. Finally after all her suffering Medicaid was approved, but far too late. She is very ill, in great pain, and in a nursing home and she is still very young. Pray for Agnes that God frees her from all pain associated with this horrible decease and great her healing and recovery.
