St. Bernard’s started Catechist of the Good Shepherd in the fall of 2007.  The Atrium is a space prepared specifically for children, ages 3 to 12. 

 The classroom, called an Atrium, is a set environment with handmade materials the children work with. In the Atrium the children grow in their relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd.  Because the children work with the materials the class sizes are around 12 children.  In order to accommodate the number of children we offer several different times and days.

There are three different levels to offer through Catechist of the Good Shepherd.  St. Bernard’s currently offers Level I and Level II.  We currently have 6 Catechists trained for Level I, 5 Catechists that are training or have completed training for Level II.  Those Catechists include:
