By visiting this web site you have made an important first step in ensuring a bright future for your child. Seton Catholic School welcomes your inquiry, and will be happy to work with you as you make a decision regarding your child’s education and formation.
Seton opened in August 2005 with an enrollment of 307 students from preschool through 8th grade. Our new facilities will offer your child a state of the art science lab, an art room that will inspire creativity, and a library that is inviting. You and your child will find Seton to be a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment. Now in 2010, our enrollment has grown to 489 students.
Word is out that Seton is the place to be.
In addition to a strong core curriculum in religion, math, science, reading, and social studies, our students enjoy a well rounded program in the special areas. All students in grades kindergarten through fifth benefit from weekly classes in computer, physical education, music, Spanish and art. Middle school students continue their development of a second language in their Spanish class two days a week. Students in grades 5-8 may opt to join the band program!
In today’s world of bullying, cliques, and other societal pressures Seton has taken a proactive stance in dealing with these problems. Middle school students have weekly guidance class to teach positive relationship techniques, problem solving, and critical thinking/decision making skills. Your child will also grow through daily religion class and through our school wide Peacebuilder’s program. Your child will learn what it means to right wrongs, give up put downs, praise people, and notice hurts as they become a Seton Peacebuilder.
