Seton Catholic School offers Extended Day to any preschoolers that are enrolled in any of the preschool morning classes. The Extended Day is only offered Monday-Thursday from 10:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. The Preschool Extended Day Application should be completed and returned with a $25.00 registration fee on each student you wish to enroll in the Extended Day. The Preschool Extended Day is not a drop in program. Parents are committed to pay the daily rate for as long as they remain enrolled. Parents will be expected to pay even if there child is absent.
4 days per week $13.00/day
3 days per week $14.00/day
2 days per week $15.00/day
1 day per week $15.00/day
Each day of Extended Day includes lunch, rest time, gross motor and free choice centers that include a daily art activity.
Lunch
Each child needs to bring their own lunch daily (mile will be provided daily at no extra cost). Because lunch space is limited it is required that all lunches be peanut fee due to many children having a severe peanut allergy. The children eat in the aftercare room located across from the school office.
Quiet / Rest Time
Quiet / Rest time will be for 40 minutes each day. Please bring a blanket and travel size pillow for your child to use each day. We will provide the mat to sleep on. If you want your child’s mat to be covered you will need to bring a crib size fitted sheet. The blanket and pillow must fit in your child's backpack and must be taken home daily. Your child does not need to sleep but must lie quietly during this time. We will provide a mat to sleep on.
Dismissal / Pick-up
If you need to pick up your child before 2:40 please go to the front office. Otherwise, you will need to come into the classroom to pick your child. Please park in the preschool parking lot.
