• In the summer of 2005 Bishop Gainer initiated a Diocesan wide Stewardship effort. He encouraged each Parish to send representatives to a Stewardship conference in Hershey, PA. Fr. Wil sent Sr. Eileen, Kay Hatton and Donna Farquhar.
• In the fall of 2005, Fr. John met with the group who attended the conference in PA and a decision was made to form a Stewardship Committee at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
• In January 2006, a Stewardship Committee was formed; Fr. John shared his vision of Biblical Stewardship for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
• The committee developed a vision statement, role description for members, and a gift/qualities list for a Stewardship Council.
• Interviews were conducted and in January 2007, the first Stewardship Council meeting was held.
