SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
The faculty, staff, and parents of St. Francis Central School are committed to serving the Church by teaching Christian values while maintaining an academic program of excellence. Together with the educational policies of the Diocese of Stebenville and communication with parents, we are committed to developing a FAITH COMMUNITY of SERVICE to the Church, each other, and the total community corresponding with the GOSPEL values as Jesus taught. Christ is the reason for our existence. It is our purpose to impart Christian values, self-discipline, respect for self and others in school, in the larger community and to teach all subjects around a core of Catholic beliefs to prepare students as Christian leaders.
It's a Parent's Choice
St. Francis Central School provides your child with a traditional Catholic education starting Pre-K(ages 4 & up) and continuing through the 8th grade, and is the combined effort of St. Francis and St. Joseph parishes. Our school is committed to the values of Christian Family living. This commitment is seen by stressing these basic values:
1.Respect and reverence for all life as a gift from God;
2.Responsibility to develop self-discipline in the growth process of becoming academically, spiritually, physically, and psychologically whole persons;
3.Ability to extend self beyond immediate families in service to the total community and global concerns in matters of peace and justice;
4.Participation in Church sponsored activities, especially the Sunday liturgy.
