Youth Minister Vacancy
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, Missouri is currently taking applications to hire a Youth Minister for the parish. Applicant must have, or be working toward, a bachelor degree in theology, or catechist certification. The position is full time with benefits. Applicant must be an active Catholic, energetic, and willing to work with the pastor in creating a middle school and high school youth ministry based on the Life Teen model. Welcome to St. Francis Xavier Parish! Founded in 1892, we are located in downtown Sikeston and are a part of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese. Our parish is approximately 580 families strong. We have our own grade school (pre-K to 8th) located next to the parish. We have many service organizations and religious formation programs in the Catholic Faith. We are proud of our history and welcome you to join us whenever you are in the area.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Saturdays from 3:15 to 3:45pm. Wednesdays from 6-6:10pm when Mass is celebrated at 6:15pm.
Sacrament of Matrimony
Registered members of the parish are asked to contact the Parish Office at least six months prior to setting a date. Diocesan regulations require six months notification and preparation period.

Our parish prays the Rosary each Saturday beginnng at 3:30pm and Sunday beginning at 9:30am. Please join us. If you are willing to lead the Rosary, even on occasion, please call the Parish Office.
