Knights of Columbus Feather Party will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Tanner Street on Sunday, November 8 at 6pm. The Knights will be selling tickets at the weekend Masses. All proceeds will benefit Birthright. You play Bingo and the prizes are turkeys for your Thanksgiving meal! Most of all you will have fun and the money goes to a wonderful charity - Birthright. It is well worth it!

Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at 9:45am at the Sikeston Fieldhouse on Wednesday, November 11. All are invited.

The Book of Life has been placed near the votive candle stand in church. Please be sure to place the name(s) of your beloved deceased in this book. We will pray for them all through the month of November.

Divine Word Missionaries will be here on the weekend of November 7/8 and will be represented by Fr. Bob Kelly who will celebrate the Masses and speak about the missionary work they do around the world. This Mission Appeal is part of the Mission Co-op Program of the Diocese. Please be generous in the second collection.

Young Catholic Musicians will visit our parish  in January 2010. They will present their annual Christmas concert after the 4pm Mass on January 9 and also play at the Masses on Saturday and Sunday. WHAT IS NEEDED is housing for two night, January 8 and 9, as well as transportation to and from Masses. Hosts are requested to also provide two breakfasts, and a dinner on saturday night. If you can host tow or more of these young people and for more information on becoming a host home for the YCM please contact Sharon Chouinard at 471-0517.


Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration for the protection, conversion, and sanctification of families will be in Church from 5:45 - 6:45pm on Monday, November 2. All are invited to bring their families and children for this simple, quiet hour of prayer for the familyh. The family is the most important building block of our civilization and needs much prayer and sacrifice in order to survive and revive in our culture, which is often hostile toward traditional family life. Father will be available for Confession. You are also reminded to Pray for the deceased members of your families on this Commemoration of All Souls Day.

Choir to Continue Practice - All are welcome to join the choir. They will continue to meet mostly on Mondays at 5pm.

Food Bank - Thanks to all those who came to help us box food. Your help is much appreciated. Our Parish is next scheduled to help box food on Saturday, November 14. Confirmation Candidates are especially encouraged to come because this will count toward your Service Hours which is a requirement for Confirmation.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Radio - IC in Union City, TN is proud to announce the beginning of their new radio ministry. You can tune in each Sunday between 8-9am on FM KYTN 104.9.

Got Cell? Several parishioners have dropped their land lines and have switched to cell phones. We request you to please update the parish with your cell phone numbers. It is hard to reach you if we don't have a contact number for you, especially if you are on the prayer line, altar sodality list, and other ministries. We would appreciate a call from you!


Pizza Inn - Please continue to save your receipts from Pizza Inn. Thanks to all of you who have been eating at Pizza Inn and saving your receipts for the box in the entrance to Church. Our Church & School get 10% of the receipts you save. If you pay by credit card, please request Pizza Inn for a register receipt and deposit this receipt in the box. Good eating!! Thanks again!


Those Who Are Participating in automatic deductions for their church tithing are reminded to use their envelopes for special collections. These are included in the bi-monthly packages mailed to you by Sunday Visitor.
