Our Purpose
Our primary purpose as members of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Home Educators support group is to offer encouragement to one another, both spiritually and academically, through various gatherings designed to strengthen each family's commitment to authentic Catholic home education.
Our Goals
* to promote and encourage Catholic family life by providing a support group for families to educate their children at home.
* to share the traditions of our Holy Mother Church, devotion to the Blessed Mother, lives of the saints, reverence and obedience to the Holy Father,
Benedict XIV.
* to support families in their homeschooling efforts by conducting meetings at which curricula, books, ideas, and questions can be discussed.
* to allow opportunities for field trips relating to art, music, history, science, and the Faith.
* to provide Catholic playmates for our children.
* to provide communication through monthly mailings, meetings, gatherings, web site and email, thereby establishing a network by which all involed can help and assist one another in our vocation as home educating parents.
