Sacred Heart of Jesus Capital Campaign at 156 Valley SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504 US - Topping off the North Tower

On Tuesday, February 8th, the cross on the top of the renovated north tower was installed. The cross arrived just after 8:00am. The people that attended morning mass were asked to stay a few extra minutes to participate in the blessing ceremony followed by the installation. In temperatures of less than ten degrees, Father Ed had a short blessing. The cross was then raised to the top of the north tower and installed. The children of Sacred Heart School came over after their morning prayer to witness the event and join the crowd that had attended morning mass. Everyone was excited to see the completion of this phase of our capital campaign.
