Dear Parishioners,

Now that our classes for Religious Education are finished for the summer, we thought we’d let you know some of the many things we did during the year. Since service is so important to us all, we do our best (in the short time we have) to teach our children the value of service. Among the different projects we did. These are some highlights: we collected gifts for Birthright and also for the Birthday Booth (part of the People’s Place); we made cards for shut-ins and nursing homes. We collected money for Catholic Charities; and we’ve sponsored the education of an orphaned boy named Daniel Mwangi in Nairobi, Kenya by sending $30 for his support every month (even when we are not in session). The students work hard throughout the year for these service projects. In addition, we make our annual Prayer and Penance Chain, which we display in our Church each Lent. It’s made up of all the good deeds done, extra prayers for Youth (FAFY) program that we began last year for our 7th and 8th graders has been getting rave reviews as well. We thank you for your support and prayers for our program. You are appreciated!!
