Four of our junior high school students had the honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery while their class was on a field trip to Washington D.C.
The SJS campus offers a modern science lab, all-school air conditioning, interactive whiteboards in all classes, a network of wireless laptop computers, and a 7,000-volume library with Accelerated Reader Program. Advanced courses are offered in math and language arts with additional classes in Spanish, art, physical education and vocal and instrumental music. Our core curriculum follows both Diocesan and Ohio State standards.
Extracurricular activities include an award-winning Academic Team and clubs for drama, Spanish, storytelling and book discussion, along with all CYO sports.
SJS has full-day Kindergarten, Preschool for 3 & 4 year-olds and Day Care.
Religious offerings include weekly mass, special vigils and retreats in accordance with the Holy Year and many service projects in both the school and the greater community.
