WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MATH CLASSES AND 7TH GRADE HOMEROOM
The 7th graders are off to a great start for the 2010 - 11 school year! They are enjoying their position as junior high students. Recently, elections were held for seventh grade Student Council representative. ____________ was elected by her classmates after a very close race requiring a second vote. Other seventh graders who hold an office on SJS Student Council are ___________________________________________________. The month of September will find the seventh graders participating in their religion service project. They will learn about the migrant workers in our area and plan and prepare a meal for them on September 23. Many seventh graders are also involved in extra curricular activitiies such as CYO football, Book Club, Academic Team, and Band. _____ of the seventh graders have accepted the invitation to take Algebra 1/2 which is an advanced math class. They are looking forward to the challenge of a more accelerated math class. It will be an exciting and educational year for our seventh grade students.
