At this age, children may have started to play an instrument and have been exposed to reading and even writing music. We will explore this in music class where they will all have a chance to compose simple melodies to play for the class. We will learn about music from different cultures and the instruments that were used. We also head into pop- culture music and musicals.

Music is a creative art where children are not graded on music ability however will be graded on participation,effort and several worksheets and quizzes.
